Peter Miller, MD, PhD

Principal Investigator

Peter Miller grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and moved to Cambridge, Massachusetts after high school where he completed his undergraduate degrees in Chemical Engineering and Biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He completed his MD and PhD at Harvard Medical School and Harvard University where he studied leukemia stem cell biology in the laboratories of Gary Gilliland and Benjamin Ebert. After graduation, he completed an internal medicine residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and a fellowship in Medical Oncology and Hematology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute / Massachusetts General Hospital combined program. Peter performed his postdoctoral work in Ben Ebert’s lab at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Broad Institute. His research focuses on the biology of myeloid malignancies and he is a member of the leukemia program at the Massachusetts General Hospital Center for Cancer Research.
